Meals & Nutrition

Our Mission Hospital team knows how important wholesome, nourishing and well-balanced meals are for your body. That’s why we make sure that when you’re here, your meals and nutrition are an important part of your treatment and recovery. We make every effort to provide healthy meals that are prepared according to your doctor's orders.

Meals are served according to the following schedule:

  • Breakfast between 7:00 and 9:00 a.m.

  • Lunch between 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

  • Dinner between 4:00 and 6:00 p.m.

Occasionally your meal may be delayed if you are scheduled for a special test or treatment. Whenever possible, you will be served after your examination or test.

Your breakfast tray will include a menu from which you can order your meals for the next day. Please mark your menu so that it will be ready for pickup. If you have difficulty making menu selections, a member of the food and nutrition service will be happy to help you. If you are on a special diet prescribed by your doctor, you will receive menus tailored to your specific needs.

The cafeterias on both campuses offer a variety of choices that are available for take-out if your family members would like to eat with you. Guest trays are also available for family members and must be ordered through the nurse. Guest trays are delivered with the patient tray and must be paid for at the time of delivery
