Mission Hospital Patient Support Services
Wheelchairs are available in the lobby of each campus, at the Heart Center entrance and at the Memorial Campus patient entrance, and may be used by patients or visitors.
Foreign language interpreters are available at no charge to our patients and their families. Please call the Office of Patient Experience at (828) 213-1210 for more information.
The Pastoral Care Department provides spiritual support for patients, families, visitors and staff members.
Sometimes sharing with other individuals who are going through a similar crisis or health problem can provide immeasurable relief. That's why Mission Hospital offers a wide variety of support groups for patients, as well as their families and loved ones. You can speak with your physician or nurse for more information regarding specific support groups.
Lost and Found
Lost and found items can be claimed from our security department. Please call (828) 213-3672 if you have lost something at Mission Hospital.
Our security department staff can provide notary services to patients for health-related documents such as advance directives, living wills, health care Power of Attorney and more. This service is provided as available. If witnesses are required, Mission Hospital employees cannot serve as witnesses for notarized documents.
If you need direction or assistance finding your way around the Memorial Campus, our volunteer guides will help you.
Wireless Internet access is available throughout Mission Hospital for use by visitors and patients.
Our chaplains provide spiritual support and care, personal consultations, assessments, emotional support and clinical pastoral care to patients, families and hospital staff. Though Mission Hospital is not affiliated with any religious denomination, our heritage has deep roots in the compassionate care offered by persons from a variety of faith traditions.
