Mission Health CFO Ayscue Named Among Top Influencers
125 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know’ by Becker’s Hospital Review
Asheville, N.C. – Charles Ayscue, Senior Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer of Mission Health, has been named as one of “125 Hospital and Health System CFOs to Know” by Becker’s Hospital Review.
The annual list compiled by the influential industry journal includes professionals from well-recognized tertiary centers, academic medical centers, community hospitals and health systems. The list recognizes an influencer’s role as one that requires the direction of all institutional financial matters, the balancing of quality patient care and the creation of innovative health care reform strategies. The Becker’s Hospital Review editorial team uses multiple resources to develop the list, including nominations, prior Becker’s Hospital Review lists and input from industry experts.

Ayscue has served as Senior Vice President of Finance and CFO of Mission Health since March 2007. Before joining Mission Health, Ayscue was CFO of UNC health care in Chapel Hill, NC, for 20 years. There, Ayscue helped to develop a combined operating expense budget of more than $1.4 billion for the 1,096-bed system. Prior to his tenure with UNC health care, Ayscue served as Comptroller and Associate Director of Financial Services at the Moses H. Cone Memorial Hospital in Greensboro, NC.
