Mission Foundation Will Celebrate All Tribute Gifts

During the month of December, Mission Foundation will celebrate all tribute gifts with a live 15-foot-tall poinsettia tree in the Mission Hospital lobby and with an interactive tribute wall on their website.

"As we approach the gift giving season, making a gift in tribute of someone is a great way to give a thoughtful gift, said Bruce Thorsen. "Upon receipt of your tribute donation, Mission Foundation will send an acknowledgement to the person you designate, so he or she will know that you've made a gift in his or her name or loved one's memory. We invite the community to come in and view the tree at Mission Hospital."

When donations are made a poinsettia will be added to the tree. When an online gift is made there will be an option to add a name, photo and personal message to the tribute wall. All gifts may be used to support any area of the Foundation that the donor chooses but if no area is designated, the gift will go towards Mission Foundation's greatest need fund. This will allow gifts to work immediately where it is needed most.

The tree will be on display starting Dec. 3 in the front lobby of Mission Hospital which is located at 509 Biltmore Ave in Asheville.
