Keeping kids safe is Keith Wilmot’s main priority as the transportation supervisor for Transylvania County Schools. He takes great pride and responsibility in knowing that the school buses he oversees must always be in good working order for the safety of those they transport daily. When a fall left Keith suddenly unable to move his right arm, he was instantly faced with severely limited mobility.
The next day, Keith went to Brevard Orthopaedics, the office of Drs. Lemel and Graham, both board certified in orthopedic surgery, for an MRI. Keith had torn his rotator cuff and would quickly need surgery. Drs. Lemel and Graham performed Keith’s surgery at Transylvania Regional Hospital, where Keith also received the physical therapy to recover fully.
Now, Keith is back at work, keeping those school buses rolling safely.
